By Train

Rowan Bank is 3 minutes from Arnside Station. On leaving Arnside Station turn left towards Arnside garage. Walk past the garage and up Black Dyke Road. Rowan Bank is the 6th bungalow on the right. Arnside Station is on the main coastal Piccadilly (Manchester) to Carlisle line.  

By Car

Exit M6 at junction 35 and take the A601(M) which will be signposted for Carnforth/Milnthorpe. Travel for about 1 mile, then turn right at the roundabout towards Milnthorpe travelling along the A6. Travel for about 7 miles through Beetham, alongside the river Bela and on to Milnthorpe village. At the lights at the centre of Milnthorpe turn left. This road will travel through Sandside and on to Arnside.

Immediately on entering Arnside you will travel under a railway bridge. At the junction immediately after the tunnel, turn left onto Black Dyke Road (signposted to Silverdale).  Rowan Bank is the 6th bungalow on the right.

The journey as outlined above takes between 15 – 20 minutes from the M6 exit to reaching Rowan Bank drive.
